There are many ways to translate Hikaru Daichi. "Light of great wisdom", "splendor of the vast land", etc. When you spray Hikaru Daichi for the first time, each of these translations makes sense.
First things first. In my opinion, this masterpiece deserves more attention and now that spring is approaching and the sun is gaining strength again, it is the perfect companion for any occasion. This is where niche and signature come together and the great thing about it is that it is somehow new, different, fresh and special.
I have tested a few Di Ser fragrances in the meantime, but I like this one the best by far. Certainly not a bargain at over 5 EUR per ml. But really top quality.
Sillage and longevity are okay, but of course most people want more power in this price range. That's quite enough for me.
A few thoughts on the fragrance:
My mind conjures up the image of a trip to Japan, a moment of silence in the middle of sun-warmed forests. The fragrance starts off citrusy and peppery with the tangy freshness of lime, which has a very mystical effect thanks to the resinous notes of forest and pine. It's like taking a deep breath on a morning walk in the woods. The drydown is wonderfully balsamic and woody with a very nice depth. For me, it is also somehow therapeutic and, above all, very natural.
I can really recommend everyone to try this fragrance if they appreciate quality and the art of perfumery and are not on the hunt for beast fashion fragrances.
