The brand is worth testing, even though there's some repetition in the scents and the prices are quite high. It can only be purchased in Europe through the distributor that collaborated on this fragrance.
It's really a fine house, although not inexpensive. There's a distributor in Europe through which some of the fragrances can be obtained. So far, I only know 4.
I really like the Japanese restraint 神座.
Not perfumey at all. 😊
DiSer never annoys; this aromatherapeutic approach is often just what you need to breathe freely and let go of old burdens.
I just tested it again the other day: I agree with you on all points, you described it just as I would. In the end, it felt too much like "cold bath" for me...
Thanks for the compliments. Yes, this cold bath No. works only to a limited extent as a classic fragrance. Normally, longevity isn't that important to me, despite what the trends might suggest, but this one is really quite weak, unfortunately.
I became aware of the brand years ago and have appreciated their approach ever since, describing the aesthetics of a calm culture as a declaration of restraint rather than being loud about it. Shinohara brews a natural, leaf-green earthiness around citrus elements, evoking the ancient coniferous forests of Japan like a collage. In plain terms: it opens with a sharp brandy note (ethereal-spicy) that softens into a humid patchouli-moss blend. Perception: short-lived, with generally poor projection. It feels more like aromatherapy than classic perfume. And yes, Kamikura smells healthy, even clearing the airways in case of doubt, and might also help with muscle tension. Still, I like it, the Japanese one. Well done.
