Sweet Ruby

Through many comments, a pattern, and additionally published "ingredients" on the internet, I have been "persuaded." The two predecessors didn't appeal to me much, but this one is completely different.
The opening is quite strong and sweet-fruity. The red color is absolutely fitting, in my opinion. Blackcurrant, a bit of apple, and a "softening" apricot blend into an appealing compote, a splash of lemon captures the sweetness somewhat, but doesn't push itself to the forefront. The scent is meant to remain sweet until the end. A moment later, hazelnuts are mixed in, and not just a few. This gives the "red kiss" its special note. You can smell them distinctly, like the hazelnut cream in "Angel Muse." Very special, very unique, very delicious. "Red Kiss" remains brighter and cheerier, while "Muse" comes off as more melancholic.
After resting on skin and fabric for a while, the scent becomes softer; the spritziness or freshness from the beginning gives way to the cocoa note. It lends it an earthiness, a sense of calm or an inner tranquility. Especially on my skin, this transformation comes through extremely well, and I would almost describe it as non-floral on me. The sweet-chocolatey-nutty and simultaneously delicate fruity note remains consistent. Somehow, the patchouli note listed elsewhere doesn't show itself to me. Or it stays so subtly in the background that it serves rather than dominates. The longevity of the scent is absolutely among the best. It easily lasts all day, and yet the sillage is not overwhelming or oppressive. Of course, this always depends on application, but I don't perceive it as a striking bomb. However, it will attract attention. I can well imagine that it changes significantly with the temperatures. Due to the hazelnut and cocoa, I would wear it on not-too-warm days, as it could otherwise come off as too cloying. The bottle is handy, and as mentioned, the color is fitting for the note. Someone even adorned it with black lace. I can only agree with that. A sensual touch is certainly recognizable, although not in the style of "Agent Provocateur," which comes off as more mature. But one can still feel sexy with "Red Kiss" and confidently let the black lace peek out a bit.
