Why is he leaving me?!
I would love to smell him longer, but he flees from me!
I must preface by saying that I accidentally ordered this fragrance. I actually wanted to order the "regular" Addict 2, since it is no longer being produced (and I really like it), and I was so excited to still get it that I completely overlooked the addition "Eau fraiche." When this fragrance arrived, I was a bit disappointed. But actually, I quite liked the first impression of the Eau fraiche, fresh, subtly sweet (thankfully, there’s no trace of citrus fruits!), a lot of juicy berries, without coming off like a fruit compote. Right after that, bright floral notes appeared for me, faintly reminiscent of roses, beautifully delicate! And then, after about 1 hour - nothing more! My nose no longer perceives the scent! I press it almost flat against my wrist - nothing, nada, niente! Sooooo sad!
Since I have experienced something similar before, I cautiously asked my daughter if she could still perceive my perfume on me, which she confirmed. The sillage doesn’t seem to be so bad, and the longevity is obviously quite acceptable for other noses. Therefore, I can’t just keep reapplying as soon as I can no longer perceive the scent - but I would love to!
I rated the fragrance 70%, because it can’t help how my nose reacts.
