Due to its Top Ten ranking here on Parfumo, I got a 3ml sample from Parfumproben.
I applied two sprays to my wrist and was shocked.
The scent smells like an old musty carpet. I feel like I haven't washed for days.
Unfortunately, this one just doesn't work at all. Even after an hour, it still smelled like an old wardrobe.
Sorry that, as a rookie, I can't come up with better descriptions. One thing I have learned: I will no longer buy a fragrance blind or rely on YouTube videos or similar sources.
My tip: Test it on your skin at Douglas and let it develop. Then, after you've tested around 100+ perfumes, try it again. Your sense of smell will change, and then you'll understand the DHI. It took me over 2 years, and I don't want to miss this DNA anymore. It's one of the best in my collection, and I've really tested a lot.
I almost wish I had been cheated or that the sample was off. It can't be that a whole community perceives the scent so differently. I've ordered more samples from the top ten. But before I dive in, I’ll have some fragrance test strips sent to me first.
