The original Diorling and I have something special in common.
We are celebrating our 60th birthday this year.
I can't remember ever testing Diorling in my youth, and it wouldn't have suited me at all back then.
As a White Linen wearer, I later (and of course still today) liked Diorissimo. Diorling might have even put me off.
Diorling from 2012 starts fresh and very green, it is understated - just like us.
We don't burst into the room. We take a look around and have a smile on our faces.
Jasmine makes Diorling enchantingly dreamy. A little drifting back into the past, a little nostalgic, but not sad. The old times are over!
The elegant green note lingers on me for a long time.
I like green! I’m already waiting so hard for the winter gray to fade and everything to bloom again.
The delicate leather note makes Diorling uniquely beautiful.
We have become milder, softer, brighter.
We have changed, but not for the worse!
We have become more lenient, letting some things slide, some words left unspoken, then again a response with a wink, just a bit of "rising above it all".
The original version of Diorling is still clearly felt, just as I can still recognize the "old Inger" within me.
We have left a lot behind, the old times are now finally over.
Shedding burdens feels good from time to time.
Maybe it would have been wise to take a different direction at one or another crossroads. But what the heck!
So here we are today! This is what we have become!
Diorling will accompany me - we fit well together.
We haven't known each other for long, have no shared past, no common memories to laugh, cry, or chat about.
But does that bother us - No! We are ready to go - hand in hand into the next 60 years!
Then I hope you’ve been able to spend many pleasant hours together over the last 2 years... and happy belated birthday! (It's also a very pleasant companion for me.)
Wonderful personal review. 🏆 - We two have something (almost) in common. I recently turned 61. 😉 I notice this age gentleness in our dog training. None of our dogs had as much freedom as our Kyra... Madame sleeps in the bed 🙈🙊
It's never too late. I discovered Diorling 10 years ago through a dear friend who loves perfume, and I've been using the sample sparingly. It's a wonderful scent. And a fitting, beautiful tribute from you.
A personal, cheerful, and vibrant text that comes across as really relaxed and almost airy, while also describing the scent well..
I wish you all the best for the coming years and plenty of reasons to wink :) !
Dear Inger, congratulations on your milestone‼️😊 Your text has many lines that I can completely agree with and want to sign off on. I believe that a lot changes with "age." And should I tell you something? I think it's great and I enjoy it! I don't know the scent, but from the wonderful way you described it, it must be amazing!
Best, Mario
Dear Inger, I'm really happy to read something from you again 🌹
I belong to the same year as you and can totally relate to the reflection you describe...
Belatedly, I wish you all the best, especially lots of health.
And now you've made me curious about Diorling 😉
Warm regards from Lake Constance. Doris
Ah, that sounds wonderful!
Diorling is an amazing fragrance. Although the 1963 version has the edge for me.
And heartfelt congratulations from me as well (I recently turned 50)!
Today I received my nth new bottle of my beloved Diorling. It was my first real perfume when I was 17, and it has accompanied me throughout my life. Dear Inger, I wish you many wonderful years with this very special scent that you described so beautifully.
What a wonderful presentation of this fragrance and the charming integration of different life stages and the development of your personality! No matter how great you were before, time has positively changed you! Great job!
Congratulations belatedly, dear Inger, and wishing you lots of luck and health for your new year of life. 🍀💐 I'm glad to read something from you again. 😍
