Expensive Curry Imitation
From spicy mysterious to curry to caramel dessert. That is Eau Noire.
If the fragrance only delivered what it promises at the beginning, then everything would be fine. Eau Noire would be the magic potion, the "Poison," the mysterious little water one reaches for when wanting to smell unusual and captivating.
Unfortunately, it turns out differently: The interesting top note of green spice with saffron and lavender transforms within 10-15 minutes into a curry dish. Actually delicious - but at the Indian restaurant, not on my skin. The curry note lingers alarmingly long and is eventually accompanied by a sweet, creamy caramel note.
There isn’t much more to know about Eau Noire. Aside from the top note and the beginning heart note, the fragrance is a total fail!
