After I already tested Eau Sauvage and liked the fragrance, I have found another one that I could imagine in my collection. Although I am just at the beginning of testing men's fragrances.
Just like the classic Eau Sauvage, I can also very well imagine that women could love Extreme ;) while Eau Sauvage is lighter, more citrusy, and by far less spicy-woody ;)
It is immediately spicier upon application, strongly characterized by basil, but also citrus notes like bergamot, lavender, and especially patchouli. A few minutes later, I can perceive the typical scent of aldehydes, which gives the fragrance longevity. Additionally, intense woody-spicy elements from coriander, rosemary, bay leaf, and sandalwood are strongly detectable. In the base, there are mossy notes, robust musk, earthy patchouli, and also cedar, resulting in a beautiful classic men's fragrance that, in my opinion, does not smell too masculine... However, in the base note, the citrus notes dissipate, leaving behind a warm spicy-woody scent with an animalic note!
