Australia 2017, just before the departure to Southeast Asia. The last drops of my Dior Homme Intense were counted, and I set out in search of something fresh, something I could call an all-rounder. I went to the nearest perfume specialty store, and lo and behold, the winner had been chosen: the Dior Sauvage Very Cool Spray. So off to Southeast Asia. The Dior Sauvage Very Cool Spray is an absolute compliment-getter, that much I can say. Just like the Dior Sauvage EDP and EDT, it is described as very pleasant and good-smelling by most people…
But now with a bit of structure: The bottle design intrigued me from the start, as it is simply very convenient for traveling. The Ambrox is definitely consistently noticeable, but with a fresh note added. In my opinion, this synthetic vein is not bad; I and many others liked the presence of the Sauvage VCS, it works great as an all-rounder, but especially in spring and summer, it really shines. Sure, it has similarities to the Sauvage EDT or the EDP (which I also own), but somehow this fragrance has captivated me, and I will never forget how much it has tied to my memories. Every time I smell it, the fresh breeze of freedom during my travels comes to mind. For that, I am very grateful… Because that wouldn’t have happened with just any random fragrance. Regarding longevity, I can say that this depends not only on the perfume itself but also on your skill in dosing. The deodorant-like trigger makes it possible to present yourself in a good light, but it can also be perceived as a nuisance. With acceptable and skillful dosing, it lasts about 6 - 8 hours. The sillage also depends on the dosage, but overall, it can be considered average.
Therefore, I can recommend this fragrance with a clear conscience to anyone looking for a good all-rounder that particularly shines in spring and summer.
