Classic, a little too retro for me to wear, very harmoniously composed, medium-bright chypre. Very elegant.

I don’t know it. But if it’s already too retro for you...

A wonderful fragrance-I gave it away, and I still regret it.

I first smelled it last year and think it’s absolutely fantastic, just like Miss Dior.

@Gaiapurpurea: Apparently, it was also based on Miss Dior. Dior wanted perfumer Guy Robert to create a really distinctive women’s fragrance, but he couldn’t come up with a defining idea. Then, while in England, he supposedly came across real ambergris and rubbed it between his fingers. Just before flying back to France, he washed his hands, and the soap reminded him strongly of Miss Dior. On the plane, he was captivated by the combination of the soap and ambergris. Back in his lab, he developed Dioressence from it-essentially Miss Dior plus real ambergris.

One of my favorite chypres-it has everything that makes a chypre a chypre.
