This sounds pretty tempting too: I think once these scents are seen more as modernizations than reconstructions, some of the pressure Dior itself has created will ease…
Definitely. It’s often confusing enough just going through the statements for other brands here. Pretending it’s like the old one does neither the new one nor the old one any favors.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your replies. Sadly, people are downvoting again. And to the trolls!!! Feel free to disagree with my statement, but downvoting other Parfumo users’ replies is cowardly and shows a complete lack of decency. It has nothing to do with expertise or solidarity. Dear all, don’t let these clowns get to you.
I tried the new version; I don’t knowingly remember the old one. Galbanum doesn’t stand out from the overall green blend, and it seems a little powdery with musk.
Overall, I like it and find it wearable. A successful translation of a vintage scent into the modern era. Probably toned down compared with the old one, though as I said, I don’t know it.
I think it would be fairer if people made their opinions known. 😡
The elegant design is really well done.
