That’s funny, @Gandix-our impressions are so different. I think I’ll go refresh my memory of the original Jules later; I’ve still got a few drops left…
Really nice to read your thoughts on Jules too. I’m looking forward to trying it-I already liked Demachy’s 2016 version, actually more than the original…
The drydown is softened by a veil and has a slight pleasant woodiness. The urinous note has already disappeared again, barely having shown up. More wearable and suitable for everyday use than the original Kouros (which comes to mind because of its dirty, soapy quality), but without its over-the-top chest hair, too. I don’t know the original Jules, and I haven’t tried enough Antaeus to make a proper comparison.
Thank you all so much for your replies. Unfortunately, the Les Dioriginals are getting a lot of downvotes again. And to the trolls!!! Feel free to disagree with my take, but downvoting other perfume lovers’ replies is cowardly and shows a complete lack of decency. It has nothing to do with knowledge or camaraderie. Folks, don’t let these clowns get to you.
Very nice!
Sounds great.
That’s definitely something special!

Thanks, @Gandix 🙏
I think I’ll leave Jules to the gentlemen. 😊
The fragrance paints a lovely picture, but it’s not for me. I’d rather flirt with Antaeus a little longer-it’s not quite as grubby 😅
