i'm not gagging

I am a little bit underwhelmed. On the official site, the notes are listed as Musk, Iris, Ambrette, and Pink Peppercorn (idk where all these notes here or on fragrantica were found tbh).

Now, on my skin, it does have a citrusy quality that would make sense if it included bergamot or some other citrus of this nature, maybe even lemon. It's really not a 'perfumy' perfume, it smells kind of like a shower gel. I do agree with some reviews that mention how it's slightly sharp and soapy. It's a very low-profile scent, so low-profile that, for me, it ends up feeling boring.

I love musky, powdery scents, but something about this doesn’t click for me. Maybe it’s the fact that the musk feels very very soapy rather than powdery or skin-like, as I expected, or maybe it’s this weird citrusy smell that lingers from the first spray. Either way, I wasn’t impressed. I find it forgettable to the point where I have to keep sniffing it just to even remember the smell.

It was a blind buy and I feel like I should have invested in L'eau Papier.
