Less sweet-fruity than the pyramid suggests. More herb-berry.
It partly reminds me of "Anbar" from the house. Here, instead of mineral amber, you get a warm animal purr, along with leathery Hindioud.
It also feels less fresh than Anbar.
At its core, it's a rose-oud, but typically complex for the house. Hindioud greets you at the start, with typical features ranging from stable to leathery, but with a restrained animal touch.
The rose is in focus. Deep red, but it also has some green-bitter characteristics from the berries & bergamot. Raspberry is faintly detectable for a moment. Plum has more of a dark-fruity touch. But they only emphasize the rose accord without being the main focus.
That part is fine, but I just deeply love the profound base of the house. With every breath, you are transported to the nature of India. The gentle-warm animal breath of an Indian tiger. It slinks through a damp green patchouli rainforest. As always, very harmoniously combined.
