Energising Ginger & Lime Douglas 2007

I never thought that citrus could smell sexy. Refreshing, zesty, clean, stimulating--- yes! But sexy?

Well. It must be the ginger or God knows what. But in "Douglas Energising Ginger & Lime," the lime simply smells super-sexy. There’s a certain powderiness that you wouldn’t expect. And yet, the scent is wonderfully refreshing, completely unsweet, clear, and full of energy.

Sometimes, seemingly incompatible qualities don’t exclude each other after all.

What surprises me a lot is the durability, which is impressive despite its lightness. The scent lasts well and good for an entire day. When you get a bit heated, it unleashes almost insane powers and smells according to all the rules of the art, while simultaneously refreshing.

The entire Ginger-and-Lime series is a regular guest for me and shouldn’t just be used in spring and summer. But in summer, I CAN’T do without it. I don’t mind that it’s a bit of a more complex scent. It’s simply constructed, but sooo brilliant!
