Very nice scent... but is there a technical term for "minus sillage"???

Since the Intense Wood has been heavily advertised everywhere... I stumbled upon Potion by chance! The bottle/design immediately caught my attention, although I didn't have high expectations. I didn't mind Blue Cadet... but I haven't found access to the "Woods" so far.. I found Wild more of a joke in the style of Ultrasense.. so I approached Potion with mixed feelings.. but the good reviews/comments here ultimately motivated me.
Potion is slightly fresh, spicy, and sweet.. exactly my type! For me, two notes dominate the scent... thyme and cinnamon... with cinnamon being significantly stronger. From the very first spray, the scent felt familiar to me... and I'm surprised that the comparison to Lillipur has never been made here.. because the similarity is very clear!!! Another flattering spicy-cinnamon bomb... slightly leaning towards sweetness.. without ever appearing sticky or artificial. Potion also has something of vanilla crescents.. which immediately reminded me of Dries van Noten.. for me, Potion is a mix of Lillipur and Dries van Noten. We'll neglect the slight wood note in the background for now. Potion fits perfectly into autumn and winter without being a Christmas scent. While Lillipur can score with a longevity of over 12 hours, also in terms of craftsmanship, which is significantly finer, Potion has its biggest weakness for me.. longevity and sillage!!!! Sprayed on the wrist, it lasts for hours, but when I wear the scent properly (5-6 sprays in this case!), I can't perceive the scent at all... and neither can others.. even on the shirt from last night, nothing and zero can be recognized today.. I've never experienced that with any other scent.... how can that be? We're talking about an EDP here.. and not exactly a light summer water in terms of fragrance direction!!! As I said, it's sometimes still recognizable on the wrist the next morning... but around me, NOTHING!!! An absolute deal-breaker for me with a fragrance.. but due to the bargain price I paid, my frustration for the 30ml bottle is limited... as often as I have to spray, it will be empty in 3 weeks anyway.. but I'd rather continue to enjoy Lillipur.. I get to enjoy that all day long.. and it also has a wonderful development. Conclusion... great feel-good scent without any presence.. what a shame.

1] A lovely comment ...
2] Trophy ...
3] For me, the sillage is such that my colleagues immediately swarm me when I wear it (and I only apply fragrances on my wrists) ...
4] I love the Potion ...
5] Sorry for you!

I'm usually cautious with terms like "strong sillage" and "good longevity," but this one really delivered for me. It's one of the best Dsquared fragrances. I totally get your "frustration," I've experienced that too. Great comment!

Maybe my nose is totally broken!!! Last night, the remnants of Tardes smelled way stronger after a full workday than the freshly sprayed potion... I don't get it... :-((

For me, it's a nice scent for a nice little guy. Period. Trophy.

Then I need to test it again. I somehow know it, but I didn't note it down here. I'm in the city today at Jeanette's (sic!) and will stop by Douglas again. ;)

Yeah, really strange! I'm absolutely convinced that four to five spritzes of that magic potion are basically like mustard gas... #Galileo Mystery

Weird - with the usual amount I apply, it lasts all day for me and is quite noticeable... but I don't enjoy it.

It's the only D² I know. Not really my brand. I can't quite remember Potion, maybe I didn't smell anything back then either :-)
