Tears of Joy Part 2 - or No Bath in Crystal Lake
I had just gotten myself together from my first test today, Velvet Forest Wood - and now this! I also ordered this one blind and what a joy, another absolute hit!
One spray on my left arm (the right is already occupied) and in my mind's eye, the 80s slasher Friday the 13th is playing (no, not because of Jason Voorhees with his hockey mask and machete), but rather: I’m sitting by the beautiful Crystal Lake, nestled in the woods, which invites me to bathe with its innocent, clear, blue waters. But no, I don’t feel like bathing, it’s way too cold; I’d rather sit here and just dip my toes in, enjoying the peace, breathing in the clear, fresh, slightly aquatic air. Delicate floral scents waft over to me from somewhere, maybe from the summer camp? Who knows... At some point, after about 2 hours, it gets too loud for me here; all the teens spending their holidays here have arrived, and I flee into the mystical comfort of the woods. I take a deep breath and am overwhelmed by the earthy, woody scents surrounding me. No, it’s not a dream; I am here and now, and nothing can disturb my peace (not even Jason with his machete :-).
Compared to Velvet Forest Wood, I find this one more intimate and definitely lighter, but both have an incredibly nature-connected aura and are absolutely always wearable for me. Okay, I wouldn’t use this one in winter; it’s too light and fresh for that. The longevity on my skin (which loves to devour fragrances and always swallows them right away) is about 4 hours.
It also has the potential to become a timeless love…
