A scent from the past
Since I do not know how old this perfume is, I do not know if it still smells the way, it was meant to. When reading, do keep in mind that this is my personal and subjective evaluation of the perfume, that I own. Who knows what it has been through before ending up in my collection…
I will categorize this scent as floral-fresh. It starts out quite fruity-floral with a citric note, which could be bergamot and I sense a rosy note, too. When it warms up I get lavender and violets, but the lavender is quite weak. The rose is still there. I tell myself that I sometimes catch a whiff of rosemary, but I am not sure. In the end, which is after two to three hours I get musk and a woody note. The perfume has a soapy feeling to it all the way through.
The bottle has a 60s, maybe a 70s vibe. The golden label, the writing and the plastic top all together look like the bottles that stood on my grandma’s shelf in my childhood. Even though I do not know the release date I bet it is from back then. The composition of the fragrance supports this. It is not a high end perfume. It has been affordable to many. Apparently it has not reached the heights of success since there are scarcely any facts about it. At least I have been unable to find any.
