The Little Vetiver in the Big Bubblegum City

After I have nearly finished testing the sample pack from Atelier Cologne, my next brand that I ordered from is Dueto Parfums. Golden Boy was great and a successful Tuscan Leather alternative, the samples were extremely cheap and shipping was free, and there are so far only a few comments on almost all the perfumes here (only 5 in total). Those were enough compelling reasons for me to take a closer look at the comic-like bottles.

For me, Vetiver is slowly becoming one of my favorite notes, so the decision to start with Citiver was made quickly. It lies somewhere between Guerlain's Vetiver and Vetiver Extreme, with a modern-urban twist. Dry vetiver, a bit of citrus, and spicy nutmeg, with a very woody-monotonous finish, Gaiac being the most recognizable. A monotonous scent, bordering on boring, but only because the vetiver competition has already done everything and seems overpowering. Moreover, a niche price doesn’t really help.

Bottle: striking and youthful - beautiful is, however, different.
Sillage: extremely quiet and more suited for high summer.
Longevity: after 2 hours a pure skin scent, then about another 5 hours there ;)

A good vetiver, modern yet rugged. Very good for summer and not a scent that should be unnecessarily criticized - because stinkers smell different! Fortunately, the synthetic bubblegum note was used sparingly, which seems to contribute to Dueto's good reputation.
