Once again, a blind buy from me. Saw the picture, read the contents, bought it.
Yesterday, my bottle arrived in the appealing fragrance anchor box. The bottle is cubic, so cube-shaped with a tactile, heavy cap.
Neat and good quality.
But now, let's talk about the scent.
A first spray on the back of my hand and I'm blown away. I expected cocoa and oud and am surprised with so much more.
Soft, creamy, wicked, and dark. Then sweet again, but not too sweet and powdery. At times, you want to bite into it.
It is already gourmand, and with the Indian oud that lingers just below the "stink note," this fragrance gains character and individuality.
I can't get my hand away from my nose.
The first compliment comes from my husband, and now I have to be careful that the scent belongs to me. Too late, he has already applied it too.
Fortunately, the price for the offered quality is reasonable, so he can get his own bottle.
In the drydown, I perceive hints of amber, and the scent becomes increasingly cozy.
Longevity is a solid 10
Sillage is balanced and pleasant
A coherent fragrance that I haven't smelled before, even though other manufacturers have already experimented with the mix of cocoa and oud.
Here in its best form for me so far.
Anyone who loves oud in a gourmand way simply must have this fragrance.
