Dusty-spicy winds
from cocoa bean smoke
warming over Assam.
Dried animal traces
& animalic woods
on the vanilla-silky ground.

The oud was definitely something else.

I often like that kind of thing in cooler temperatures.

I would still inhale the winds with the cocoa smoke.

Dark roasted cocoa bean smoke. Maybe even a hint of coffee at the top. Dried civet traces are clearly noticeable. They blend beautifully with the sour-strong aroma of traditional Hindi "Oudhs." To me, it feels like a nod, or even MGOs response to Bortnikoff's Oud Monarch / Lao Oud. It has those wonderful soft and dry cocoa notes, but also the all-encompassing animalic, perhaps even more powerful at times than Lao Oud. DD is truly a standard work in this genre. DD becomes significantly creamier, softer, and sweeter. The sweet notes briefly push the animalic again before it noticeably recedes. Only for animalic lovers... ;-)
