Something here goes acrid perfumy in my nose, covering the whole beauty of the thing. Jasmine, rose and patch here are sadly not my friends.

Jasmine, and also gardenia can do this. Something something stale indoles?

Ya ... it's more common an issue with certain houses for sure. Dusita is one I struggle with a handful of, unfortunately. In general, indoles don't tend to bother me, and Un Bel Amour D’été is a gardenia I really dig, but when patchouli has more of a voice, it seems to take those florals some place extra harsh to my nose :/
