Oh, honey...

I got a mini of Tonka Latte because I already had Bianco Latte and I thought it would be redundant, based on other reviews. Blind buy fail! Or so I thought. :)

As soon as I sprayed it on I hated it: sharp, screechy, aggressive. I assumed it was the tonka bean, but even to this day I am still unsure of the cuprit. Anyway, I congratulated myself on buying the 15 ml version and then I tried to sell it, but with no success. Some time later I asked the vendor in a store selling this brand if the scent changes with time, she said no. Oh well...

However! A couple of months later I noticed it changed colour so I tried it again and oh, the honey blew me away. Either my "nose" has changed or the juice, but it does not matter. Now, at least to me and on my skin, it smells like if Bee from Zoologist and Bianco Latte had a perfume-baby. The honey is very sweet and only slightly animalic, and the rest of the notes simply support it and make it whole. It feels like a smooth blend and although I would say it is a gourmand, it feels more elevated than the usual sweet stuff that gets nauseating after a couple of hours.

I would also like to mention that milk accords sometimes turn sour on my skin, but not this one though. If you have a bottle and you hate it, maybe give it some time.
