I received a small bottle of a completely unknown fragrance as a "bonus" with a Souk scent. And I am surprised at how good it is. Although the "fragrance pyramid" only lists very sweet flowers and honey, there must be much more in terms of scent ingredients. A citrusy, hesperidic opening with green accents ..(Galbanum?) is definitely something my nose receives very positively. What follows are the "sweet flowers," but these are perceived as anything but "cloying" thanks to the green freshness. A very pleasant floral array that corresponds to the season of spring for me.
The very long perception of this bouquet really takes off when some warm woods appear in the "base" later on,
Pleasantly warm and still fresh seem to be no contradictions here. I can imagine wearing the scent "I Love Magic" on a summer day near the Baltic Sea in a northern city like Riga, slightly shrouded in mystery, yet still bright and friendly. A fresh breeze hardly allows relentless heat to set in during the summer months.
And winter conjures a "wonderland" with ice and snow crystals that one enjoys looking at before returning to a cozy, warm room... Already thinking of spring..
Highly recommendable fragrance, if it is still available somewhere.
Just stumbled upon this - thank you for your wonderful comment, dear Minigolf, I really enjoyed reading it! I was especially pleased to read about my hometown Riga :-) Dzintars has something for everyone, and you can really find many treasures! I will definitely test the fragrance on my next visit to Riga ;-)
