the disappointed rose princess
Light and buoyant is this rose fragrance, which blushes youthfully under a light powdery layer, until it is allowed to unfold on the skin and dances, having matured through the expected short time of its fleeting life.
Memories of my childhood were suddenly awakened:
How much the little blonde girl wanted to be a rose princess at the last carnival in kindergarten: The pink lace dress, nestled on tulle (it was the late fifties and petticoats were "in"), was already hanging - for good! - in the closet, a wide darker satin ribbon was tied into a bow at the nonexistent waist; all that was missing was the rose crown in the hair or a little tiara.

But this dream burst; bitter tears of disappointment flowed:
