Esperys E. Coudray 2007

This fragrance MUST be tested on the skin!!! Everything else is pointless. On a blotter, it smells alcoholic, of little or nothing. Normally, I would have set the sample aside if it didn't impress on the cosmetic tissue. But today it called out: "Take me out! It's me, Jeannie, the genie of the bottle!!!!"

Whoa! So much! Some samples I can't handle! And with this thought, a citrus note rushes past me. Aha, now the spirit is out.
And then a nod from Jeannie, and there stands a basket of berries, lovingly decorated with a few rose petals. And even though the sweet ghost lady is standing next to me, smacking and sucking on a caramel candy, I like this fragrance. Normally, I say no thank you, I don't like cotton candy-caramel-sweet stuff. But the magic of Esperys has captivated me.
In the base, a hint of vanilla can be sensed, caramel is very persistent, but not unpleasant. The cocoa bean is clearly noticeable, which slightly tempers the caramel, and a bit of woodiness gradually joins in.
Simply delicious!
