Dresser
Today, I had to interrupt the hustle and bustle of the day with a little break in my favorite perfumery. There are so many unfamiliar scents, and I feel like Alice in Wonderland.
Lacking brand knowledge, I let myself be guided by the allure of the bottles.
A wonderfully old-fashioned packaging with the ornate inscription E.Coudray caught my attention.
The old-fashioned bottle also perfectly matched my taste.
It would have fit excellently on Grandma's dresser, which was adorned with numerous glass jars and cut glass bottles with a silky pump ball. And indeed - Esperys could have been in one of those bottles!
I am immediately enveloped by a rush of bergamot and green grasses, transporting me back to my childhood, when I sat for hours in front of that enchanting three-part mirror.
A stormy rose aroma appears, harmoniously blending with caramel and patchouli.
Vanilla, cocoa, and woods deepen the old-school impression of the fragrance - yet strangely, they do not make it heavy, but leave me feeling refreshed.
An unusual but extremely successful composition.
For me, as a hopeless nostalgic, the scent was a "must"!
I have decided that Esperys was in one of the beautiful pump bottles on Grandma's dresser, and I now wear it proudly in memory of a wonderful woman.

I'm also familiar with the three-part dressing tables. My mom and my grandma had one. A trophy on grandma's dressing table.
