Watery light magnolia

The name of this fragrance describes it perfectly. A watery, light, green, fresh, slightly soapy magnolia, and not much else. It does a good job capturing the essence of the flower, though I would have liked a bit more spiciness or woodiness. I don't get the oakmoss or chypre vibe at all, as some other reviewers are mentioning, actually that would have been quite welcome. The base is slightly sweet musk and maybe a hint of vetiver, but it doesn't have the sharp earthiness of vetiver as a prominent feature. Though I think the right guy could absolutely pull this off, Eau de Magnolia leans a bit too feminine for my liking. Overall, pleasant, inoffensive, high quality, but not earth-shattering or incredibly unique.
