Musc Ravageur is for me a truly strange blend of baby powder that smells delicious.
So full-bodied that you really want to taste it, but somehow as a perfume it reminds too much of "vanilla kisses," the girl’s deodorant from gym class in the 7th grade in the 90s.
Gourmand and dense vanilla usually don’t work for me, but this one theoretically does. Practically, I was asked why I smell like baby oil.
Unfortunately, I only got around to smelling this amazing scent today. I completely share your opinion on the fragrance. It definitely smells just like baby powder 😊
I totally get the association with baby powder, especially since there's a lot of musk in it, and powder often has a musky scent or a similar vibe. However, I feel like people who only notice the powdery aspect of the fragrance might not be used to musk, or not in such high doses. Because MR has very sensual notes with vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and that sweaty, animalistic undertone. You might discover more facets of the fragrance if you wear it more often. :)
Fun to read. Two reviews right after each other: one animalistic, the other baby powder. Quite a difference. I'm more on your side; I really like the scent. I had to laugh at the comparison to gym class in 7th grade. I didn't have that association, but now I know what Vanilla Kisses is and that you can still buy it :P
