5th Avenue Nights Elizabeth Arden 2008

Today, I was once again struck by the blind-buy frenzy. At TK Maxx, the perfume prices can be so tempting that you just HAVE to seize the opportunity! Normally, I quickly check the offered fragrances on Parfumo via my smartphone to see their ratings and ingredients, to avoid falling into a trap. But today, unfortunately, the battery gave out. So, I gathered my courage and simply bought the 100 ml for a mere €16.95 :-)
And this time, I wasn't disappointed. The scent isn't particularly extravagant, but it's not ugly either. For me, the white floral notes clearly dominate, with the woody notes only making an appearance at the very end. The fragrance is neither too sweet nor too overpowering; it has something clear about it, but also something impersonal. It strongly reminds me of Noah, which I used to like a lot.
If I were to wear perfume in the office, I would probably say it's perfect for the office. But I don't, because it would distract me too much and probably others as well. Just imagine if my Addict cloud mixed with my colleague's Angel cloud, and the Angel cloud with another colleague's Samsara cloud, and so on and so forth :-)
So, it will simply be my unobtrusive summer scent for chilling.
