Especially Escada Delicate Notes Escada 2012

... I could enjoy this fragrance even more. The appearance often deceives more than one thinks. The bottle looks quite girly and suggests a super sweet content. At least for me. Many thanks to the noble donor of the sample, otherwise I probably would have never tested the perfume. Thank you, Springflower.

Right from the start, a fresh, cheerful pear rolls towards me. One of the crisp and not too sweet kind. Alongside comes a mild citrus note, slightly sour, yet very pleasant. It must be the grapefruit. Fortunately, it does not smell at all like shower gel, shampoo, or dish soap. Very natural, fresh, cheerful, fruity, citrusy, tooth-friendly sweet, and after a short while, also delicately floral. A gentle rose peeks out from the top note without overshadowing the other notes. I found a similar top note in Ange ou demon le secrete, but this one developed much more citrusy and sour. This one is very light, yet not thin, and for my feeling, almost aquatic.

After the hissing and sparkling start, it soon becomes a bit calmer and smoother. A smooth, delicate rose envelops the top note without completely fading it out. The rose is already slightly soapy, yet not a bubble-blower. The scent is now radiant, warm, floral, fruity (the grapefruit still treats us to a few juice splashes here) and clean. There is a certain volume present, but not so strong that it would be too extreme for hot summer days.

This state lasts for a few hours, then the rose slowly sneaks away, leaving behind a delicate, slightly powdery note. The fruits have rolled away, yet have left their traces. I never perceive the woods, which is a pity, it would have been nice. However, the soft, crystal clean, warm musk comforts me. Again, such a scent that adapts well to the rhythm of the day. In the morning, sparkling freshness and in the evening, a warm, almost cuddly breeze.

Unfortunately, the sillage is only average, it could be louder for my taste. Actually, the longevity is quite good, it just bothers me a bit that the intensity generally decreases quickly. Despite everything, I really like the scent. It is not a femme fatale, rather a young, pretty, spontaneous, and vivacious woman who longs for romance. In gray, dreary weather, it conjures a smile on the lips in no time and is a refreshing companion for sunny days. Generally, it is suitable for work, leisure, sports, and I could also well imagine wearing the scent on a date, as it is very lovable and thus spreads good vibes.
