Escada generally puts out some nice fruity-florals, so I wonder what happened here. It started out somewhat fruity with a hint of root beer and a bunch of industrial solvent. (It had a faint air of wood pulp, so I wonder whether this was an overdose of vanillin.) It dried down to loud fake fruit and laundry musk. After 20 minutes, I couldn't take it any more and scrubbed it.
Interestingly, this is the first perfume I've hated where I also hate everything listed on the sidebar under "users who like _________ often also like _____..." So, if you are a fan of Tresor, L. Biagiotti Laura, JP Gaultier Classique, Emporio Armani She, Chopard Casmir, or Armani Code, you may be my fragrance opposite and smell something completely different and wonderful in Ibiza Hippie!
Hmmm. Sidebar switched out Armani Code. No, I don't hate Cerruti 1881, but I don't like it, either! I'd love to find out who my fragrance opposite is who loves all of these!
I see Cerruti 1881 on the sidebar now. Do you hate it, too? (-; Escada and I have never really hit it off. They went from the intense asafoetida-laden early launches (three of which I had and swapped or gave away) to these fake fruit juices. /-;
