Today I tested two Escada fragrances for the first time. The packaging totally reminds me of the Mel Merio scents, although it’s probably the other way around and Mel Merio copied Escada. And quite well, because the fragrances are on par, to the detriment of Escada.
I was drawn in by a sweet-fruity breeze, as another woman was testing "Island Kiss." However, when I tried it myself, it was disappointing. From the very beginning, it was artificially floral, artificially fruity, artificially sweet, and strongly lingering with a powdery note.
When I tried to identify the artificial fruits on the subway, I noticed orange, which is indeed accurate.
Otherwise, I found only one thing interesting, and that is when I sniff and then exhale, I perceive a fine balsamic scent.
