Ocean Lounge Escada 2009

I bought this scent on sale last summer. The next day I wore it to work, it was still very early in the morning and I made my rounds through the patient rooms. One of the patients had his eyes still closed and just wrinkled his nose twice, I thought well maybe the scent is too overpowering after all... later during the rounds I entered the room again and the patient smiled and said: "You were already here this morning? You smell so deliciously fresh like strawberries." I had to laugh and said yes.
The scent was also very well received by my colleagues. It is, as expected from Escada, sweet and fruity, but I don’t find this one too sweet; it has a fresh quality to it. At first, it is quite intense, you mainly smell the strawberry, which stays with me until the end. The floral notes join in and together with the vanilla they create a lovely base that makes me think of spaghetti ice cream :-)
