Horizon Woman Esprit 2006

This is a premium example of how good intentions can go really wrong. Let me start with the bottle. Or the naming. Because somewhere in the process people stopped talking with each other. So the design department drew an angled, yet rounded oval with no horizontal lines whatsoever. They decided to make it red. In the meantime, the naming department, who just came back from vacation, decided to go with the name ‘Horizon’… I would have liked to be a fly on the wall, when all finally gathered at the presentation. Maybe the head of production had a few questions? But then again, no. Otherwise, he/she would have stopped this project, told the two departments to delete everything and then re-group to a bigger office, with room for everyone.
Starting out extremely Lychee/Grapefruit is a knock on the head. To me, it never calms down and I get too little of Magnolia and the base. It would have been nice to smell other notes. Luckily, it disappears within a few hours.
Come again, Esprit… or preferably, do not come again.
