I agree 100% and I am surprised that this hasn't been mentioned more often. Yes, this is one of the many (self) clones of Ganymede... but Ganymede is much more refined. Bois Imperial is a spiky cacophony of akigalawood and pepper, which even with one spray gave me a headache. Used to have a bottle, and very glad I gave it away.
