"Magenbrot and Speculoos"
Oriental spice pastries that we in the West associate with "Christmas" have an old, different tradition in the East.
The scent of this perfume somehow reminds me of such spices.
It might be the pepper and nutmeg that are "responsible" for this; both are clearly noticeable in the opening of the fragrance and intensify further along the way.
The sweet scent of hawthorn enhances this impression, while patchouli adds its touch.
Vanilla, fresh from the pod, amberwood, and sandalwood provide a deep glimpse into a bazaar, like one you might find in Marrakech or Odessa.
This amber is a warm and friendly companion for the cooler seasons or for cool summer days.
The longevity is good, and the sillage is pleasant and not "overwhelming".
This scent is not an "absolute must-have candidate" for me, as I own several similar ones, e.g., "Ambre de Cabochard".
Nevertheless, it was a pleasure to have smelled and commented on it.

This Christmas fragrance really puts me off many oriental scents. I only like to wear something like this during Advent.
