Modern Muse Le Rouge Estēe Lauder 2015

With Modern Muse and Chic, I initially struggled a bit because I found the two graces too elegant for me.

I appreciated these muses in my mom - and she encouraged me to wear both for a longer time.
And - lo and behold - they also go well with my rather casual outfit.

That's why I confidently bought Le Rouge today without trying it first - and I have no regrets.

The "Red" greets me more warmly than her companions, almost with a readiness to cuddle - without falling directly around my neck.
The velvety rose, intertwined with delicious raspberry, surrounded by vanilla makes the welcome easy and lovely.
But then Le Rouge collects itself and shows with slightly bitter patchouli poise and character strength.
Mild pepper and noble saffron emphasize this shift into elegance.
The centifolia adds a touch of exclusivity, as Le Rouge wants to remain individual.
It succeeds with ease.

Le Rouge is an interesting, independent muse, with a friendly start and a pleasantly unique development.
I can well imagine the scent with original second-hand clothing - but it will also enhance everyday outfits.

Nevertheless, this muse is not everyday - so to speak, an affordable niche fragrance.
