Resin heaven or resin hell? That is the most pressing question posed to the perfumista mind by Estee Lauder SPELLBOUND, which abounds in opoponax and benzoin, making this elixir a perfume at any concentration!
In order to stand a chance of being appreciated rather than abhorred, SPELLBOUND must be applied one drop at a time, for the line demarcating resin heaven from resin hell is a thin one indeed, very easy to cross, and it is impossible to turn back without a long hot bath.
A true litmus test for resin tolerance--and appreciation!--SPELLBOUND is bound to capture your attention with its deep dark spiciness infused in thick, viscous, lusciousness! So spicy and strong that my perfume mini will suffice for the rest of my life. To my nose, the civet does not even begin to compete in this composition with the cardamom, allspice, and heavy florals...
