Rose - Jasmine - Oud and a Hint of Leather: A Dream!
I can't describe the scent any other way. This is what I perceive time and again.
There are rarely any fragrances that adhere so clearly to the pyramidal development for me. However, a wonderful combination of rose and oud runs through the entire fragrance evolution. Oud starts gently and intensifies slowly. A dark rose makes its first appearance in the top note, takes command in the heart note, and then fades away in an embrace with raspberry into the depth of the scent. The jasmine is consistently present, but it gives the whole composition a richness rather than that typical jasmine note. Despite the rose and jasmine, the scent is in no way too feminine for me, but definitely a unisex fragrance.
I am absolutely captivated from start to finish, a scent from which I can hardly detach my nose from my wrist, preferring to have a drop on my scarf or neckerchief so that I can bury my nose in it.
The bottle is sturdy, chunky, and elegantly refined at the same time. The sillage is harmonious yet somewhat eccentric. There’s nothing to complain about regarding its longevity. Perhaps the scent isn’t made for everyday wear, but I love to bring the extraordinary into the everyday.
