Iris, popcorn and a lovely sweetness
La fin du monde is my favourite perfume of this House. The smell is very different to other perfumes that i had smelt before though It has phases which remember to other perfumes. The base of the perfume is for me a very Well worked iris. A powdery, sweet and bloomy iris. Around It a very delicate balsámic and Woody sweetness accomplished with a very good mix of carrot, ambrette Seed, sandalwood or styrax. In other hand It has also a Green and vegetable vibe given by the vetiver. The spices and the popcorn smell finish the fragance given a very different character. Into the dry down the sweetness fades a bit off and It becaumes more spicy.
The performance is however only average. The longevity is not bad but the performance is very subtle. With a better performance is could be one of my favourite perfumes and a very good option for nightuse. Nevertheless i think It is better for day time use due to his very delicate performance. I would wear It but i think It is more oriented for women. I have this perfume un muy wishlist because overall this is a different and very interesting fragance.
