Mint-green grasshoppers leap, camphor-winged, through herb meadows. Summer hasn't yet brought a butterfly.

Right now, there isn't much summer around, maybe this scent could change that?

Great brand, but I don't think it would be my favorite either.

Forest forest forest :-)
I also like Cilice, but I can only wear it rarely because I find it a bit waxy and heavy. I have good memories of Suedois as well.

The brand is interesting! Petals is still waiting for my attention, and I have a few other candidates in mind too :)

Oh, I didn't think the scent was bad and I'll wear it out a bit more, but I haven't looked up the prices ;)

Only if there's no other choice ;) Better to save the wings a bit!

Great brand, but for me, it was only a 7.

Well, "only" ... 7 out of 10 is great ;) I like the scent!

One should definitely serve special butterflies to a Marieposa. That would be fitting! 😉

Thank you, thank you :) There are still soooo many butterfly scents out there, so an occasional grasshopper doesn’t hurt at all.

I also found it lovely, especially because it had such a delicate touch that suited the theme.

The big grasshoppers creep me out a bit. I don't bother them and hope they'll leave me alone!

I still find the scent extremely strange. But somehow, it draws me in like magic.

Strange, but alluring, that's exactly how I feel about the scent too. Thank you for the sample, it will carry me well through these oppressively hot late summer days :)

That might be a bit too green for me, especially with the mint. But the grasshoppers sound really cute :)

The green in here really draws me in. The marigold and I often have a bit of a disconnect, but nothing a little grasshopper can't make up for ;)
Translated · Show originalShow translation
MarieposaMarieposa 2 years ago
I actually don't smell any marigold. But it wouldn't bother me either ;) I like the tension between the dry (hay, wildflowers) and moist (grasses, mint) notes, along with the funky camphor.

This year we have extremely large grasshoppers. I know, it can be misleading; with the ovipositor, they look much bigger than Flip :-) I like them, even though they can bite hard. Mint green, what a beautiful picture you’re painting.

A grasshopper has never bitten me, but a rock hyrax has! ;) Luckily, I don't have any in my garden. Maybe that's for the best...

... but they are pretty, the grasshoppers, just a bit sturdier. However, the lovely mint note that runs through it is a little bit addictive.
