Soul Soother
This fragrance is sooo beautiful-
Bergamot and rose provide a fresh and slightly fruity opening, which is neither citrusy nor "edible-fruity," and already has a soft, balsamic quality without being heavy.
Then, through iris and delicate, not too masculine sandalwood and vanilla, even more softness emerges, a hint of honey or rather beeswax, creating a cozy, sunny, rounded, delicious scent.
The vanilla never pushes to the forefront; it simply contributes to making it soft, rounded, and warm.
Swan is a natural perfume that thankfully avoids the usual heavy hitters like
for example, orange, patchouli, jasmine, ylang-ylang. It doesn't smell typically eco-friendly,
but is unmistakably like very high-quality natural cosmetics.
And it is- even for sensitive noses like mine- virtually impossible to overapply; sillage is rather absent, and the longevity on the skin unfortunately leaves something to be desired, especially when you want to bathe in it endlessly like I do... (I'm experimenting with skin oil as a fixative;-)
But still, I give it 100 points and recommend it to everyone who, for example, would find a hint of Armani's golden She enchanting but experiences this one, like I do, as far too intense...
To all those who want to test a honey-golden soul soother in this gray, cold autumn weather.

oh-Blauemaus, that's really too bad... strangely enough, this is the first real crowd-pleaser I've had so far; neither kids, cats, nor my otherwise quite sensitive boyfriend found it annoying or overwhelming, but rather nice on me.
