With this beautiful name .. FIORE DE RISO .. my mother's rice pudding immediately came to mind. Tztztztz, always thinking about food.. but that's just how it is.
So I sprayed it on and tested: FdR starts with a large bouquet of white, sweet flowers including roses, carnations, and jasmine. Beautifully fresh, underlined with a hint of bergamot or something similar.
- and now it happens, I have to realize that this scent has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with my mother's rice pudding, because she served it with sugar and cinnamon or - if explicitly requested - with canned plums but NOT topped with white flowers!
So once again: This wonderful scent starts with softly citrus-underlined white flowers, fresh white flowers. After a while, they are fixed by a woody note (Davana?) and now smell a bit spicier, perhaps ginger and marigold (which I believe smells like licorice, but I can't determine that) play a role. Additionally, a vanilla note slowly joins in, which is then supported in the base by tonka. The scent remains fresh/sweet but is now grounded with benzoin resin and wood, according to the pyramid sandalwood and oak moss. In combination with the vanilla, FdR now has a spicy base note.
Genre: Unisex scent (but more for women than men) with fresh white flowers and vanilla
