I don't want to disturb the widespread approval... this was undoubtedly a great scent that accompanied me for a while in the late 80s. However, coconut prevented a long-term affair. What a shame!
The slightly creamy aspect as a counterpoint is really well done for me.
But if you don't like that note, I can totally understand.
In Cartier's Santos, there's also coconut, and opinions are really divided on that one too.
It's clear: love or hate, the scent note is just uncompromising.
