Wow, this must be an amazing scent and wonderfully described. I recently had my clove Aha moment with Tabak Blond, and now I鈥檓 facing the same issue with the discontinued fragrance, sigh.
@ParfumAholic I鈥檝e thought about that too a few times, not even testing them. But I still end up doing it again; the scents are usually just too tempting.
Oh no, I've fallen in love with a discontinued fragrance again...
That's true! In the past, the EdTs had more power and longevity than some of today's EdPs.
The flowers, leather, and spices are used almost extravagantly. Especially the clove - which often bothers me in newer fragrances - is prominent here and so perfectly integrated that I actually like it. Despite all the richness, this "more is more and there's no such thing as too much" scent will never be too much for me. Thanks to @Greenfan1701, I was able to test both the EdT and the EdP. Honestly, aside from the greater depth of the EdP, I can't really notice a big difference. Back then, the EdTs simply had more radiance, making Eau de Parfums almost unnecessary. It's a shame that this dream scent is no longer available (or if it is, then at outrageous prices).
