Surprising from Primark
Today I discovered a sample of Falling Star from Primark.
Falling Star sounds good to my ears - almost romantic - but Primark confuses me.
Aren't those the overcrowded teen junk shops where a claustrophobic person better not sets foot?
No matter - I don't have to, I have my sample.
Fortunately, because the scent does not carry the cheap image - like the stores - which might be unfair to them?
I have never been there.
The falling star is definitely well made.
It is pleasantly sweet, with a light woody base. The vanilla - jasmine combination is indeed romantic - but without drifting into the kitschy.
Tonka is soft and round, contributing to the flattering friendliness of the scent.
Glamour is not its theme, but I don't miss it.
A pleasant sweet companion - without the candy factor, with a kick of romance that is positively uplifting.
My prejudice against Primark was dispelled thanks to the good gift from a dear perfumer.
