English Lavender Field for the Handbag
Since I added the "Lavender Body Spritzer" by Fikkerts to the database and apparently (still) am the only owner here, I would like to contribute a comment on this fragrance. (I know how annoying it is to find an interesting scent that other Parfumas/Parfumos own and then there are neither statements nor comments.)
So: I purchased the bottle during a trip to London, specifically during a visit to the "Royal Botanic Gardens" in Kew, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The skincare company "Fikkerts" has created a product line (fragrance, bath foam, soap, creams, etc.) in collaboration with the RBG that captures various scents of the plants found there. "Lavender" has three siblings: "Wild Flower," "Palmhouse," and "Rose Figuier," which are now also listed here on Parfumo (and unlike "Lavender," they even got photos). As the name "Body Spritzer" already suggests, this is not a perfume with great sillage and longevity, but rather a light fragrance mist with a lavender scent that is meant to be sprayed on for refreshment. I like to use it in the evening, before going to bed, or when I feel like pure lavender scent. The "Lavender Body Spritzer" is the perfect companion for warm spring or summer days when you don't want a heavy fragrance and would rather take something refreshing with you for a quick spritz.
