Post-extinguishing work in midsummer
Midsummer in a university town in Lower Saxony - lecture on commercial law. "How could this happen?" I think. "I wanted to study something social," and suddenly I'm sitting in a law seminar with business administration student Justus, Franz-Gerd and Victoria-Charlotta. The seminar is as dry as the weather, the communication between us is equal to the intensity of the rainfall - 0! Suddenly the rescue, my beeper sounds the alarm. F-3 MTG (fire 3, danger to humans/animals). My dissonance in my head, abruptly resolved. "I can catch up on the lecture later - I have to go now".
[...]
As I change, various scents, including sweat, sun cream and sawdust, get caught in my nose. This is where you realize that it's the height of summer. The machine operator starts the car and the exhaust fumes are supposed to be directed outside through a ventilation system. However, my nose briefly sniffs out the exhaust fumes. Not nice, but unavoidable.
[...]
While the contaminated clothes are bagged up at the end of the mission and exchanged for fresh tracksuits (#firecancer), the smell of smoke from the clothes flies into my nose - I find it annoying and unpleasant. "That can't be healthy either" I think every time. Meanwhile, my comrades apply sun cream and moisturizer.
[...]
23:00 - same day - same place. The detector sounds the alarm again. Follow-up extinguishing work! Breathing apparatus doesn't seem to be absolutely necessary. My gaze wanders over the black, charred wooden bars and the destroyed interior. Annoying but necessary work. In the distance, I can see students sitting on the terrace drinking cocktails. A whiff of coconut flies through my nose - but is quickly drowned out by the smell of burning. The students apply cream again.

Also ICH habe mich köstlich amüsiert. Wie Du den Duft "auseinander nehmen" kannst, finde ich genial. Die Duftkombi ist wirklich sehr, sagen wir mal, gewagt. ;-)
