It opens with a cold sharp vermouth, not suffocating like absinthe but very elegant. The myrrh helps building up a bridge between something ancient and something (the booze) extremely refined, so I get the image of an old romanian noble that lived through centuries and now it's stuck in our days. Luckily, the rose is not overwhelming and just gives the blood - which is the most intense heart note, and I'm so happy about it! - a romantic but obsessive vibe. I can't stop sniffing my wrist, as the blood lingers long and strong and intense on my skin. I love it. Finally a good Sorcinelli, after But Not Today! I miss a bit the metallic part of blood, but this is a intense goblet of blood with crushed roses petals everywhere. It's not overly romanticised, but definitely addictive and tormenting. Kudos!
